How to Sell Faster on Vinted: A Practical Listing Checklist

Nobody can promise that an item will sell within a set time on Vinted: demand depends on the item, the brand, the season and the price. What you can control is how easy you make the buyer's decision. This checklist covers the four things that are fully in your hands.
1. Photos: show the item honestly
You don't need a professional camera, but you do need good light. Shoot near a window in daylight and avoid warm artificial light, which changes colours.
- First photo: the whole item, worn or on a plain hanger, on a clean background.
- Details: label (brand, size, composition), fabric close-up, and every defect, even small ones.
- Back: show the other side so buyers can assess the whole item and you have a clearer record of its condition.
2. Title: write what buyers type
Buyers use search terms and filters to find items. A specific, accurate title can help describe the item for relevant searches, but Vinted does not publish a formula that guarantees placement. Compare:
- ❌ "Blue sweater"
- âś… "Zara wool-blend sweater, electric blue, size M"
Put brand, item type, main colour or material and size first.
3. Description: answer the questions before they are asked
A short, structured description saves messages back and forth:
Zara wool-blend sweater, electric blue, size M Worn a few times, very good condition. Small pull on the left sleeve (see photo 5). Measurements (flat): chest 52 cm, length 64 cm, sleeve 60 cm. Composition: 50% wool, 50% acrylic (from the label). Smoke-free home. Bundles welcome.
Measurements and composition must come from you or the label: a photo cannot show them reliably.
4. Price: start from comparable items
Search Vinted for the same brand and item type, then look at items in similar condition. Pricing slightly above your minimum leaves room for offers, which are common on Vinted.
Where AI helps, and where it doesn't
An AI listing tool such as SellFast AI can turn your photos into a draft title, description, hashtags and an estimated price range in Italian, English, French, Spanish or German. It saves the writing, not the checking: add measurements, confirm the composition and compare the price with similar items before you publish.
