Method and limits of SellFast AI

This page explains exactly what SellFast AI does with your photos, what it produces and where its limits are, so you know what to check before publishing.

What goes in

  • Up to 5 photos of one item (JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF, 7 MB in total).
  • The language of the listing: Italian, English, French, Spanish or German.
  • The marketplace: Vinted, eBay or Subito.it.
  • An account with a verified email address. Each generation uses 1 credit; if generation fails, the credit is refunded.

What happens

  • The photos are sent, with your language and marketplace choice, to an AI vision model through OpenRouter (currently an OpenAI model).
  • The model identifies the item, the brand when visible, the visible condition and other visible details, and writes the draft in the language you chose.
  • The model is instructed to be honest about the item's condition.

What comes out

  • A title.
  • A plain-text description.
  • Hashtags.
  • An estimated price range: minimum, maximum and currency.

How the price range is estimated

  • The range is estimated by the AI from what is visible in the photos: item type, brand, materials and condition.
  • It does not use live marketplace listings, sold-item data or price databases.
  • Treat it as a starting point: compare it with similar sold items on your marketplace before setting your price.

What the AI cannot know

  • Measurements, weight and exact composition, unless clearly readable on a label.
  • Defects, smells or damage not visible in the photos.
  • Whether an item is authentic.
  • Marketplace rules, fees or shipping options for your country.

What you remain responsible for

  • Checking every detail of the draft against the real item.
  • Choosing the final price.
  • Publishing the listing: SellFast AI never publishes on your behalf. The optional Chrome extension only fills the form.
  • Following the rules of the marketplace where you sell.

Your data

  • Generated listings you save are stored in your account and can be deleted at any time.
  • Read the Privacy Policy for providers, retention and your rights.
